Our Story

Steel City Property Management was founded in 2012 by Daniel Kovacic, a Pittsburgh native and licensed real estate broker who saw landlords struggling to manage their properties while working full-time jobs. What started as a side business managing a few rental homes for friends has grown into a full-service property management company managing 350+ properties across Pittsburgh and the surrounding counties.

We manage residential properties - apartment buildings, single-family homes, condos, and townhomes - and commercial properties - office space and retail. From a single condo to a 50-unit apartment building, we have the systems, the team, and the experience to handle it.

Our approach is simple: treat every property like it is our own, treat every tenant with respect, and keep the owner informed every step of the way. 98% rent collection rate, under 2% eviction rate, and 13 years of happy landlords.
